Still battling with too much belly fat? Use Cinnamon water!
It is not new that most people do not know what to combat the fat in the tummy. These fats are as a result of what you eat and drink on a daily basis. Also when your metabolic system is not functioning as much as it should, the fats start building up and hence result to belly fat.
Some may say “avoid late night food, eat more fiber drink more water and workout every day”. Yeah we all know that, but has any of them told you that you can lose belly fat and get that flat tummy you ever wanted by just drinking herbal tea? Teas like Cinnamon, Turmeric and Honey combo.
Now listen, herbal teas contain natural ingredients that will help you burn fat like magic. E.g. Cinnamon helps to increase insulin sensitivity and decrease blood sugar – both key components for losing weight and controlling type 2 diabetes. (See other health benefits of cinnamon).
Turmeric on the other hand speeds up weight loss by increasing the bile production present in the stomach. Bile is a digestive juice that helps in emulsifying fat in the stomach.
What about honey? Apart from helping to reduce ulcers, honey also ease digestive problems, and regulate blood sugar.
Now you see the reasons why you have to include cinnamon herbal tea in your diet even if it is two times in a week?
Let’s make the Cinnamon water now:
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 1/2 tbsp. turmeric powder
- Honey to taste
What to do?
- In 2 cups of water, add the cinnamon stick and boil for about 15 minutes.
- After boiling for 15 minutes, add turmeric, low the flame and wait for 5 minutes.
- Allow to cool for some minutes, sieve and add honey to your taste. Add a little bit of fresh lemon juice.
This is not really a lose belly fat in less than a week kind of tea. Losing weight and burning belly fat with this water can only happen when you work on your diet, exercise at least 3 times in a week and consume this tea first thing in the morning.
This is my personal weight loss combined with scientific finding. You’re free to make your own survey and ask the medical professionals if it is okay for you to take the water.
