It’s no secret you want to slim down and maintain a healthy weight. All you need is to drink simple cinnamon tea at least 3 times in a week!

Cinnamon is not only a spicy ingredient for cooking, it is also used to make a nutritious, and healthy tea. It is generally known as great fat burner. Drinking tea made with cinnamon has amazing health benefits like reducing blood sugar, treating menstrual cramps, etc.
Like ginger, cinnamon can be added to your smoothies, oatmeal and also use to make slim down tea. The tea works in three ways to strip fat away from your body:
- Suppresses appetite to help speed up abdominal fat loss
- Block the formation of fat cells to store less fat
- Ability to convert stored fat into energy
When it comes to making a healthy tea, you don’t have to combine the entire world-known ingredients. That alone can spike your blood sugar levels and make you gain weight. This slim down recipe can be made using cinnamon stick or ground cinnamon. You also need an infuser mug to brew the tea.

- 1 cinnamon stick or teaspoon of cinnamon powder
- 2 cups of water
- Optional – green tea, teabag or sweetener e.g. honey or lemon
- Using cinnamon stick, crush it into pieces and add to your mug. Otherwise, add teaspoon of cinnamon powder to your mug.
- Fill the mug with hot water and cover.
- Let the cinnamon steep for 10 – 15 minutes, then, if you are using the stick, sieve to remove the pieces.
- Add any of the teabags of your choice and steep for some minutes. (Optional). You can also add extra sweetener (honey) or a slice lemon.
- Enjoy your Slim down cinnamon tea. This tea becomes more effective and taste better when you combine it with honey.
